Our tour continued with more relaxed pairs / team competition on another excellent heathland course in the sunshine. Steve Tapping and xx won the pairs
Our first day was at the magnificent Beau Desert GC. 20 players took part and the Tour Trophy was won by Colin Dunkerley with 39 points
The Tour Trophy was contested at the iconic seaside course at Hunstanton where the wind blew very strongly! Debutant Peter Allcock was the winner.
Our Norfolk Tour began at Brancaster (Royal West Norfolk GC) – a very traditional links course where foursomes is the norm. The Captains team defeated the President’s team.
Our Society Day following the Open was at John O’Gaunt – a lovely mature course. 20 players dodged the rain in a batterball competition won by Andy Flint and Mike Hamment (again)
President Mike Hamment won the 15th Fitz Open at St Ives with 37 points on countback from Austin Jessop. 34 Fitz golfers competed
The second day of the Tour was at the spectacular seaside course at Felixstowe Ferry with its spectacular views, cloudless sky and strong winds!
Day 1 of our East Anglia Tour was at the highly rated Ipswich GC. Our guest Sara Davies came home with most points but Andy Flint won the Tour Trophy
Eight golfers enjoyed an afternoon round golf en route to the main tour at Martin Dinkele’s home club of Newton Green, near Sudbury
Day 2 of the Tour saw us Church Stretton – a hilltop course with magnificent views! Colin Dunkerley took the Tour Trophy with 35 points
